Bob Evans is a professional agrologist with a background in agricultural business. After graduation from the College of Agriculture, University of Saskatchewan in 1979, Bob sold fertilizer equipment and subsequently worked for Grainews. In 1986, Bob moved to Nipawin and entered the crop inputs industry with Gates Fertilizers. In the winter of 2006-07, Bob and his partners sold their multi-outlet inputs business to Viterra at which time Bob started an independent consultancy with an agricultural emphasis. Bob is rostered with BDC Consulting to provide strategic management and succession advice. In the past two years he has worked for a variety of clients ranging from tourism to the petroleum industry but the focus of his efforts have remained agricultural. Working in conjunction with McCannell Farm Group, Bob has provided turnaround, growth and succession advice to large farm clients in Saskatchewan.
